 The primary purpose of these guidelines is to support teaching and learning of the national curriculum. The guidelines may also be applied more broadly by schools as a good practice guide for other activities.

The guidelines are available to download as a full document or individually by chapter. Chapter 1 includes the foreword and introduction, Chapter 8 includes the references, glossary and acknowledgements.
