Adventure Southland Ltd offers an environment of support, trust and safety for individuals to explore their limitations and teams to develop trust and cohesion. We are an outdoor adventure based business on the outskirts of Invercargill providing a safe and fun learning environment for diverse range of groups including schools, corporates, tourists and individuals. We provide specialised and challenging outdoor education programmes involving our Challenge High and Low Ropes course, indoor and outdoor rock climbing, abseil tower, giant swing and an initiative and problem-solving course. We are able to tailor each programme to suit your specific goals and objectives. We also offer tuition in windsurfing, flat and white water kayaking, canoeing, tube rafting, caving, bridge swinging, rock climbing and abseiling. Our staff are trained in accordance with the New Zealand Mountain Safety Council and New Zealand Outdoor Instructors Association guidelines and are all first-aid trained. Situated in the heart of the bush-covered mountains of the Lewis Pass area, the Boyle River Outdoor Education Centre is one the South Island\'s leading providers of residential outdoor education to secondary schools and community groups. We provide tailor made courses, both on and off site, to suit our clients’ needs. Well-qualified and experienced staff facilitate personal development, teamwork, leadership training, outdoor activities, outdoor pursuits training, adventures and retreats. Dunstan High School 

Dunstan High School operates two adventure related strands - one within the High School and another as a separate commercial venture. The Outdoor Education department specialises in senior school full time adventure programmes. All classes are assessed under the NCEA system using either unit and/or achievement standards and some also complete external national awards. We specialise in Project Adventure approaches that develop teamwork, leadership and confidence. Our adventure specialties are Nordic skiing, Snowsports, Rock climbing and Ropes course work. We also offer adventure based leadership training to year 12 students and have had independent research completed on these training which indicate exceptional results. We also offer assistant facilitation options to a small number of year 13 students specialising in adventure. Learning Adventures is the adventure marketing side of the school and offers holiday adventure programmes, international student adventure programmes that meet Code requirements and other corporate, school and institution trainings and workshops.

St Andrew's College (Outdoor Education) 

The Castle Hill Outdoor Centre has been run as the base of the St Andrew's College outdoor programme for the past eighteen years and has a full-time instructing staff of four. The team delivers a variety of courses throughout the year, from peer support and prefect training to general activity camps. Students are guided in a wide range of experiences such as abseiling, rock climbing, snow caving, skiing, tramping, and kayaking.
