Operator workshops (Nov - Dec 2011)
TIA and Outdoors New Zealand ran operator workshops in 11 locations throughout New Zealand in November and December, starting in Taupo on 28 November.
The workshop built on the May/June workshops, and included a session on the adventure and outdoors safety guide and how this web-based tool could contribute to safety thinking in your business. We looked at input on other review work relating to incident reporting and competencies and qualifications. There was also discussion about the activity specific guidelines. The workshops provided an opportunity for operators to network and share safety ideas.
